Nowadays the world is kind a hostile and we cannot rely on the fact that they stay the same. Because these scripts are powerful and can do a lot of damage when being altered, you should seriously consider to sign your scripts with a certificate. I will show you how to take care of that:

Dir cert: -Recurse -codeSigningCert

This will output:
Directory: Microsoft.PowerShell.Security\Certificate::CurrentUser\My

Thumbprint Subject


8D70B346B8B9EC77114A229CC94800ABFAE04B4 CN=username

Directory: Microsoft.PowerShell.Security\Certificate::CurrentUser\TrustedPublisher
